OK, so that thing that made you happy that day meme that's going around? I might not do it for real but I'm going to do it for yesterday. (if anyone hasn't seen it. "The rules are that for 8 days you have to post something that made you happy that day. (8 for Eito.)")

What made me happy yesterday?

Finding pictures from the DxD photobook!

Heck, I could say "finding out that there is a DxD photobook." The other day I was google searching "guingel" (part curiosity, part security) and apparently I've been given photo credits at a Thai forum, Popcornfor2. Pictures that I used in the pimp post, not any I'd scanned (since I still haven't uploaded those or finished scanning). Anyway, I ended up going through the last 50 pages of the forum (so far) and I found a lot of pretty spectacular photos (very Nagase-centric, which is TOTALLY COOL WITH ME). And a couple of other AMAZING things which I will share this evening. :D

And the DxD photobook is just incredible. (Click for full-size!)

I just don't believe how cute they are, and how hilarious it is to have them playing basketball against each other.



Um. They got a tiny child. She's taller than Okada. :D

So pretty! So cute! I think this picture is, like, the definition of gratuitous.



This picture has me in stitches. It's so funny in so many ways. The combination of the three of them is already hilarious, and then the look on Go's face and the fact that Nagase must be on his knees. . .





I could not even have imagined a picture as hilarious as this one.



And back to our original theme: height difference. :D

It's the complete lack of subtlety that cracks me up. "Um. . . Maybe we could have Nagase sit down?" They should put Okada in the foreground like in LOTR. Ahh, those tiny, tiny legs. :D

I love his girly glasses. XD Everything about him confirms my suspicions that he's a 50-year-old woman.

!!!!!!! DxD is a drama that Nagase and Okada did together. In 1997. They team up and fight supernatural crime. It is terrible and the special effects are beyond belief. But my god, it is incredible. It was Okada's first drama and he was SO FUCKING TINY and just blows my mind and as you can see, Nagase was in full hair mode. Only the first episode has been subbed. . . I don't have the link on me or anything, I'm afraid. darkeyedwolf might have more information at her fingertips on this one. I can't even think of what else might be relevant to say. . . DxD is. . . DxD!!

Hey, I am totally cool with being Okada-esque. Especially if it means I get to team up with Nagase and fight ghosts. ::pervs at young Nagase and Okada::

Yes. It is our compensation for not being able to reach tall shelves or see things in crowds. We can fit our legs into airplane seats, and we get superpowers. It's why I'm such a good athlete, singer, and dancer! :D

I knoooooooow! It's so shiny and flowy and shiny! And he's all "fwoosh!fwoosh!" (sound effect of hair being flipped around)

Taichi with long hair kills me. XD There was a period where Taichi, Nagase, Koichi, KimuTaku and possibly also Matchy all had the same shoulder-length hair. I call them hair twins even though there's four or five of them (cos twins are awesome)!

At one point Taichi did have the smooth, shiny hair too. XD Not sure what happened to it in the picture above! I think you can kind of see it in the Love & Peace PV. . . and sort of in Ko No Yubi Tomare. Possibly Julia, I don't have any screencaps at my fingertips. XD
