Jan. 27th, 2008 03:55 pmSo, while I was visiting Katie (who, because there always seems to be people not aware of this, is my twin sister) last week, we decided to finally fulfill a lifelong dream and draw Kanjani8 as babies. OK, not lifelong, but it's been on our to do list for a long time. We've really gotten into the reader art sections of the idol magazines, and Arashi and Eito get some incredibly cute drawings. Anyway, we only drew three of Kanjani8, but that got us started on all the groups. :D
I posted the Arashi drawing and TOKIO drawing in their respective communities because they included all the members and no one was wearing bunny suits. Also, I didn't want there to be a flood of posts in the comms of my adorable but simple artwork. (And when I say "my" I mean "Katie's". I'm the ideas girl and do clean-up afterwards. Katie is the cute expert and pencil-wielder.)
But V6 and Kanjani8 also turned out incredibly adorable and make me really happy, so I'm going to share them here.
So, we only drew our favorite members of Kanjani8: Yoko, Hina, and Maru. Cos Maru has a sweets mania, we had to give him ice cream! Note that tiny Yoko's ickle baby sock is falling off.
Also, we're, uhm. Huge fans of Hina's wolf teeth. :D

v6_unlimited, as opposed to victory6, and so I didn't really want to dive in and post this, and have to explain it. XD Basically, I'm always calling V6 "good bunnies." Like, you know how when someone's cute, you'll call them a muffin or something like that? I often call cute guys puppies. And V6 are so sweet and just pleasant and nice, so I'm always thinking about them and saying to Katie, "Awww, they're such good bunnies."
So we drew them all in bunny suits.
Yes, Ken Bunny is going in to give Inocchi Bunny, uh, bunny ears. Also, note Okada Bunny's idol-like pose. XD And Go Bunny is pulling Sakamoto Bunny's tail. :D
Also, for people who looked behind the cut to see the pictures, and are still reading, I have a bonus TOKIO gift, also from Katie! She apparently was roaming around www.tudou.com, and emerged with some seriously awesome links that I will now share with you:

Takki on MentoreG - I just skimmed this as of now, but it seems much more interesting than the usual MentoreG for the non-Japanese speaker. Appears to feature Yamaguchi in a giant rat costume.
Also, MY NEW FAVORITE VIDEO IN THE WORLD. It's got Higashiyama, it's got English, but not him speaking it, it's got Michael Jackson, and manhugs, and dancing, and long beautiful sleek bodies. . . it's just amazing. AMAZING.
So yeah. Please let me know if you like the drawings? Katie is kinda excited about getting to share something she did, so I'd love to be able to let her know that there's been positive feedback. ^_^
Side note: is anyone bothered by cursing? I'll probably still do it in my LJ from time to time, but I'd definitely be careful in comments if it bothers anyone.
