yeah, i also really hate coming in in the middle of things, so i got really stressed out about that. Like, even though from my boss's perspective it would have been better for me to at least see part of the lecture, from my perspective not going at all is better than interrupting things partway through--and thereby drawing attention to my absence. I think it's all ok, that he understands.
