so, in addition to finding that notebook, I had a very productive day. Sort of.

Mom and I played some pictionary--or rather Charadionary, which is what I call it when mom and I play by ourselves. We each take a Picture This card, and then just take turns drawing a side of the card. But we use the charades hand gestures for words and syllables and "sounds like." And when Katie isn't around, mom and I tend to be even looser with the rules, because we aren't the greatest guessers and it's hard with just two people, cos when you're the only one guessing there isn't anyone else's guess to sort of work off of. So, uh, there will be occasional verbal hints. At any rate, it was much fun.

Then we made cookies! I made chocolate chip cookies almost all by myself. I did spill some water in the cookies, though. I actually haven't had one yet, but I did eat considerable amounts of dough and it was very good!

And then I went on a job search! I used Smith's job searching website. I found a couple of good prospects, so hopefully I won't be at the DOB again. I think I've learned all I can, and I need other job experience. It's just so intimidating to start a new job. And everyone there is so nice. So if my other applications don't pan out, I have something to fall back on, which is nice.

Mom and I also got up to some good times last night. After watching some Monty Python, Mom remembered a craft that someone at Bethpage (volunteer job) taught her. This involves printing out a picture of Michelangelo's David, cutting out around the crotch, and gluing it over a light switch, so that the switch takes the place of David's penis. (I felt like I should have used a silly word for penis there, like ding-dong or something. It just seemed right. But I resisted!) XD After several false tries with different sizes, we achieved it! And it looks pretty hilarious. Even better is that we were sitting in the room with the modified switch with Dad and he completely failed to notice. Much giggling ensued.

And, as if all that weren't enough, last night I found a yahoo group for my favorite bondage/fetish artist and it had lots of pictures i hadn't seen before!

Anyway, it would be super-awesome if I could get that job. ::bites lip:: I hope to get the application in tomorrow.

And then pack and work on my study abroad application. Woo. Still. A full and pleasant day. :) Mom was watching "You Bet Your Life" (Katie's Christmas present to her) while I was on the computer in the room, and I saw the guy who played Tarzan on it! He's a big guy. Very adorable, too!

Jeeez, it's cold in here. So cold! My hands are freezing.

Yay Laura! What kind of job did you find? Maybe I'm blind, but I don't see it here. ;)

I found you! Actually, it wasn't that hard, seeing as how the link was in your facebook account, but still, I like to pride myself on the little accomplishments. The bank job is so beneficial to me, you could never leave it! Everyone else there doesn't know how to get things done in a timely manner. They clearly haven't been living in the northeast long enough.
